This series deconstructs Picasso’s Weeping Woman works, yet reinterprets them within a new historical and geographical context. Farzaneh’s painting goes beyond an aesthetic engagement with existing artworks—it is a political statement. Screaming Woman is a tribute to all those women who raise their voices despite oppression, violence, and danger. The figure stands as a symbol of courage in confronting established power structures. Deconstruction serves not only as an artistic method but also as a strategy of resistance. By breaking down and reassembling classical depictions of female suffering, Farzaneh creates a visual language in which women are no longer objects of pain, but active agents of change.
