The series “Guernica 2” by Farzaneh Ravesh is a profound exploration of conflict, memory, and human resilience, serving as a strong condemnation of barbarity and cruelty, this time reflecting recurring events in the history of Iran. It depicts the suffering of the civilian population. Rendered in shades of gray, the paintings convey a sense of desolation and anguish, while the crowded, chaotic compositions evoke the oppression endured by the people.
