Farzaneh Ravesh

Farzaneh Ravesh was born in 1981 in Tehran, Iran.
Bachelor in Museum Studies and Master in Painting at the Islamic Azad
University of Art and Architecture in Tehran.
She worked for 5 years as a lecturer at the Fine Arts Academy in Arak.
She founded the independent art institute “Negarestane Honar” and
taught a variety of subjects such as art history and art philosophy. As a
recognized artist, she also exhibited many pictures in art exhibitions in
Iran.
The artist Farzaneh Ravesh has lived in Germany since 2017 and is very
committed. Here in Germany, she was accepted as a doctoral student
at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main in the field of art history
under the working title “Iranian contemporary artists in resistance and
exile with a focus on the causes and backgrounds: A critical
investigation according to Hannah Arendt”.
In practical area, apart from many group art exhibitions, she has
worked as art teacher at kindergarten and school in Frankfurt. She is a
member of the professional association of visual artists in
Frankfurt (Berufsverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler
Frankfurt e. V.).
